Cynthia A. Eckert, 61, of Robesonia, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Frederick J. Eckert.

Born March 27, 1951, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Ulmer, Sr. and Mary (Haas) Ulmer.

A graduate of Reading High School, she retired as a bakery manager for Weis Markets. She also was a dance instructor for Marie Shaw School of Dance.

She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church, Womelsdorf.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Tricia L. (Craig Baltzer) Engleman, Nampa, ID, Matthew W. (Tabitha) Eckert, Laureldale, Christopher J. (Denise) Eckert, West Lawn, and Bridget A. Eckert, Reading; her brother, Irvin Ulmer, Jr., Shillington; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Rice.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 11 AM, from Trinity Fellowship Church, 300 Lyman Ave., Womelsdorf, PA  19567.  Burial will follow in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 AM until time of service at the church.

Alternate memorials may be made to her church at the above address.
