Harold H. Boyer, 92, of Wernersville, passed away in the evening hours, Monday, September 5, 2016, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Roberta J. (Kramer) Boyer. Born April 17, 1924, in Mt. Gretna, Lebanon Co., he was a son of the late P. Raymond and Buela A. (Miller) Boyer. A 1942 Graduate of Reading High School, and later Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute, Harold proudly served in the US Army as a Sergeant First Class during both WWII and Korea.  He later worked as a printer for the Reading Eagle Co., for 36 years until his retirement. He was a Past President of the International Typographical Union, Local #86, and served on the Board of Directors for BELCO Federal Credit Union. He is survived by his son: Gregory S. Boyer, husband of Jean, Wernersville; his grandsons: Matthew Boyer and Andrew Boyer; and by six great-grandchildren. To honor Harold’s wishes, services and burial in Alsace Lutheran Cemetery, Reading, will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Mull Funeral Home, Womelsdorf is assisting the family. www.mullfh.com
