JoAnn Strickler, 70, of Marion Twp., passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016, of natural causes in her residence. Born June 26, 1946, in Marion Twp., she was a daughter of the late George and Minnie (Hoffa) Zimmerman. She had worked as a star sewer for the former Valley Forge Flag Co., and had later worked for the Reading Rehabilitation Hospital and the Caron Foundation. She is survived by her children: Minnie R. Strickler, Lebanon, and Michael S. Strickler, Marion Twp., and Robert L. Zimmerman, Reading; her granddaughter, Jaymee Strickler; and by her brother, Charles Zimmerman.  She was predeceased by her siblings: Jean Zimmerman, George Zimmerman, Jr., Harry Zimmerman, and Janice Baker. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 11 AM from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, with the Rev. Paul Jones, officiating.  Burial will follow in Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown.
