Joan M. Adams, 74, of Jackson Twp., Lebanon Co., went home to be with the Lord, in the afternoon hours Sunday, September 18, 2016, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Arden L. Adams. Born April 17, 1942, in Millersburg, Dauphin Co., she was a daughter of the late Nevin and Ruth (Klinger) Schreffler. Joan liked to travel and was an avid reader. She had last worked as a Manager for the former Hershey National Bank from 1963 – 1982.  She also worked along with her husband as the owner and operator of the Motel Skandia, Myerstown. Along with her husband, she is survived by her two sisters: Carol Graff and Pat Hoch. She was predeceased by her son, Troy K. Adams, who passed away August 4, 1995. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 10 AM from Maranatha Baptist Church, 25 Gaul Rd, Sinking Spring, PA 19608, with Dr. Merritt K. Hole, her Pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in Hershey Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday, September 23, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, and Saturday, from 9 AM until time of service at the church.
