John W. Miller, 92, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the evening hours, Saturday, December 31, 2016, of natural causes in Manor Care, Sinking Spring. He was the husband of Jane L. (Clauser) Miller. Born February 21, 1924, in Reading, he was a son of the late John W. & Anna (Schlemm) Miller. A 1942 graduate of Reading High School, he was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army. He was the proprietor of Miller’s Food Market, located at Birch and Spring Streets, from 1947- 1974.  He later delivered milk for the former Reiffton Dairy, St. Lawrence Dairy, and retired from Clover Farms Dairy in 1986. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Kathleen S, wife of Ronald Krause, Ruscombmanor Twp, and Richard A. Miller, Muhlenberg Twp.; his granddaughter Lauren E. Weand; and great-granddaughter, Piper Weand. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, at 10 AM, from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567, with the Rev. Paul Jones, officiating. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be Friday at 2:30 PM.  Relatives and friends may call from 9 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Nativity Lutheran Church, 1501 N. 13th St., Reading, PA  19604.
