Michael Angelo Calabro, 89, of Jackson Twp., Lebanon Co., passed away in the morning hours Wednesday, February 22, 2017, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital. Born December 15, 1927, in Reading, he was a son of the late Guiseppe & Francesca (nee’ Cirella) Calabro. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army, and was a life member of the Myerstown VFW. He was employed as a fabric cutter by Linden Incorporated, Talbott's, and Everite Mills. He is survived by his children: Gary M. Calabro, Jackson Twp., Lebanon Co., Robyn J. (Frederick) Erby, Marion Twp., and Sherry L. (James) Schaeffer, Womelsdorf; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his siblings: Anna Hain, Jennie Shalter, Masione Buono, and Frank Calabro. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
