Retired Technical Sergeant Peter Thomas Rossini, 43, of Shreveport, LA passed away June 15, 2016. Peter was born on April 14, 1973 in Pompton Plains, NJ.  He grew up in Womelsdorf, PA and graduated from Tulpehocken High School. He then received an Associate Degree from Lincoln Technical Institute in Electronic Technology.  In 1999 he enlisted in the USAF and proudly served for 16 years before retiring in 2015.  He was called upon to serve contingency deployments at Al Udeid AB, Qatar;  Kirkuk AB, Iraq; and Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan.  He was awarded Air Force Achievement Medal with an oak leaf cluster, Air Force Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal.  Other achievements include 2003 Airmen Leadership Graduate, Bitburg AB Germany and 2006 Community College of the Air Force, Environmental Service Technology, Barksdale AFB, LA. Pete was an avid hunter.  When he wasn't hunting he enjoyed traveling, watching soccer and ice hockey, playing with his dogs Mongo and Rhiannon, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.Peter is survived by his father Burnell M Rossini of Womelsdorf, PA; his mother Paula R Plum of Cape Coral, FL; siblings Wendy Rader, Christine Rossini-Elliott, Jeffrey Rossini, Nicole Rossini, and Bradley Rossini; nieces and nephews Maxwell Rader, Abigail Rader, Ryan Elliott, Devon Elliott, Henry Film, Duncan Film, Nolan Rossini and Maple Rossini. Memorial services will be held on August 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 300 W.
