In memory of an incredible vibrant soul that will live on in our hearts forever. Rachael Victoria Collar (nee Phillips) came into this world on 10/29/1981 in Reading, PA and left us on 12/7/2016 in Campton, NH. She was a gift to her mother and whole family, and a true loving companion to her husband, and a friend that you will never forget. A joy to everyone she touched with her presence and infectious personality. Oh! What a presence! A loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin,  role model to some, a lifesaver, a true friend, a dedicated wife, stalwart hiking companion, let's not forget the life of the party! From the time she was small, a determined and driven girl always looking for the next challenge. Spending some of her childhood in NH, she eventually was able to fulfill her dream of living there. She was in her work role a Certified Emergency Nurse at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH and Lakes Region Infusion Center, Laconia, NH. Her coworkers were some of her best hiking companions getting together with her sometimes once a week, sometimes once a month, always knowing that they were in for a treat. She attained her BSN from Bloomsburg University. Dedicated to her craft, she worked hard to get her PALS, TNCC, had just completed her Certified Emergency Nurse course, passing with flying colors. Proud words form a proud family. In her early career she worked at Good Samaritan Hospital, was a travel nurse at Camp Wicosuta in NH, also working at hospitals in Florida briefly while a travel nurse.. Rachael was an accomplished artist, creating beauty in clay, on canvas, beadwork, loved making jewelry, and making her surroundings fit her passions. An accomplished hiker, having hiked all 48 of New Hampshire's 4,000 foot summits and many other's like a couple of her favorites, Belknap Mt. and Piper Mt. picking blueberries in the summer to her heart's delight. Her dogs Buddy and Fritz lost a great mom. Fritz will be lost without his 10 mile hikes! She is survived by her loving husband Bree Collar; Mother, Victoria Brooks (nee Lotz);  Brother, Ian Rienecker;  Stepfathers, Carl Rienecker Jr., Ron Brooks; Father Paul Phillips Jr., Grandmother Ingeborg Lotz, many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives that got to enjoy her through marriage, and dear, dear friends. She will never be forgotten and lives on in some of our best memories. Good bye sweet beautiful girl. Visiting hours will be held Friday December 16th from 4-6 PM at the Mull Funeral Home 27 East High St. Womelsdorf PA 19567. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AMC Mountain Club or to the Transcendental Meditaion, TM.org.
