Robert L. "Hilly" Hill

Robert L. “Hilly” Hill, 71, of West Lawn, passed away in the early morning hours Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in the Reading Hospital. Born Wednesday, January 14, 1953, in Anniston, Alabama, he was the son of the late Lester H. & Betty M. (née Mange) Hill. A graduate of Reading High School he later proudly served in the US Navy. Robert retired from the former Reading Tube, now Cambridge Lee Industries, having worked there for 46 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, dirt track racing, attending concerts, and playing the guitar. He is survived by his longtime companion, Virginia M. Gray; children: Jerry Lee, Chrissy, Samantha & Gretchen; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his sister: Dorothy Lou (Wayne) Miller; and by his nephew: Kerry M. Ulrich. Robert graciously and unselfishly was a donor with the Gift of Life Donor Program.
