Ronald E. Youse

Ronald E. Youse, age 85, of Wernersville passed away on Tuesday evening, April 2, 2024 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of 65 years to Irene M. (Ziolkowski) Youse.

He was born in Reading on June 25, 1938 a son of the late Norman and Pearl (Miller) Youse.

Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He was a Truck Driver for 35 years, having last worked for Maier’s Bakery and previously for Interstate Motor Lines.

He attended St. Stephen’s Polish National Catholic Church where he once was a member of the Young Men’s Society of the Resurrection and he was a member of Teamsters Local Union 429.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, country music, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa L. Shaak, and Robin A. wife of Robert Lozinski; four siblings, Gloria Koller, Sandra Moyer, Woodrow Youse, and Diane Dietrich; two grandchildren, Hunter Shaak husband of Betsy, and Olivia Shaak fiance of Josh Osborne; and a great grandson, Calvin.

He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jane Evans; and five brothers, Kenneth, Norman, Robert, Barry, and David Youse.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
