Margaret E (Lengel) Berger

Margaret E. Berger, 97, of Wernersville, passed away in the morning hours Monday, August 13, 2018, of natural causes in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville. She was the widow of the late Eugene S. Berger. Born March 8, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. & Phoebe K. (nee’ Reber) Lengel. A 1939 graduate of Womelsdorf High School, she was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf; and was a past Worthy Matron of Conrad Weiser Chapter # 449, O.E.S., Womelsdorf. She is survived by her niece: Lisa M. Lengel Kessler; her nephews: Terry Lengel, Jim Lengel, Tom Lengel, & Peter Lengel; and by her god daughter: Luanne Leonard. She was predeceased by her siblings: Warren E., John F., and Ralph E. Lengel. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 20, 2018, at 10:15 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 300 W. High St., Womelsdorf, PA  19567, with the Rev. June E. Bair, officiating. Burial in Zion Lutheran & Reformed Cemetery, Womelsdorf. Relatives and friends may call Monday, from 9 AM until time of service at the church. Eastern Star service will be conducted Monday at 10 AM. Contributions may be made to her church at the above address.
