Sylvia L. Lapp, 66, of Heidelberg Twp., Lebanon Co., died Friday night, December 28, 2012, of natural causes in the Ephrata Hospital.

She was the wife of David F. Lapp.

Born in Heidelberg Twp., Lebanon Co., February 27, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Isaac H. & Mattie (Lapp) Zook.

She was a member of the Lebanon District of Old Order Amish.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children:

Isaac Lapp, husband of Sadie (Lantz), Fountain City, IN;

Rachel, wife of John Stoltzfus, Fountain City, IN;

Mattie, wife of Samuel Lantz, Green Fork, IN;

Fannie, wife of Jonas Peachy, Myerstown, PA;

Moses Lapp, husband of Rachel (Blank), Millersburg, PA;

Sarah, wife of Daniel Beiler, Bethel, PA;

Rebecca, wife of Johnny Zook, Myerstown, PA;

John Lapp, husband of Rebecca (Stoltzfus), Myerstown, PA;

Samuel Lapp, husband of Sara Ann (Stoltzfus), Richland, PA;

her siblings:

David B. Zook, husband of Fannie (Lapp), Myerstown, PA;

Sarah L., wife of Moses Lapp, Lebanon, PA;

Rachel L., wife of Stephen Esh, Myerstown, PA;

John L. Zook, husband of Sadie (Lapp), Myerstown, PA;

Noah L. Zook, husband of Katie (Lapp), Lebanon, PA;

Jonas L. Zook, husband of Sarah (Lapp), Economy, IN;

40 Grandchildren also survive.

She was predeceased by a stillborn daughter and by her sister, Mary L., wife of Jonathan Lapp, Myerstown, PA.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012, at 9 AM from the residence of Moses Lapp, 255 Gibble Road, Heidelberg Twp., Lebanon Co., Myerstown, PA  17067.  Burial will follow in Lapp’s Cemetery.

The Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., Womelsdorf, has charge.
