Barbara Jean "Bubba" (Johnson) Plempel

Barbara Jean “BUBBA” Plempel, 58, passed away in the late afternoon hours Monday, April 5, 2021, in her Womelsdorf residence. She was the wife of Rick A. Plempel. Born Sunday, January 20, 1963, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Donald D. Johnson & Doris (neé Lash) Earhart. She was a 1980 graduate of ELCO. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children: Erik A. (Michele) Plempel & Shannon L. Plempel; her grandchildren: Aidyn & Hannah; and by her siblings: Debra Sheetz & Corbit Miller. Her creative abilities and attention to detail would make every occasion better. Serious at times but still used her skills at crafts, costumes, blankets, and favorite family recipes to wow everyone she met. Barbara also spent over 20 years at Alcon in the administrative department, headlining in some major projects. No matter what she went through, she was kind and generous to everyone. An amazing person is one who always surprises you with how incredible they are. Forever missed, never forgotten!  We miss you equally!  Relatives and friends may visit with the family Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 2 - 4 PM at the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E.
