Blanche Groh Obituary
Blanche I. Groh, 90, of South Heidelberg Twp. passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Franklin D. “Donny” Groh who died in 2015 and wife of the late Wilson H. Steinman who died in 1966.
Born in Danville, PA on April 2, 1930 a daughter of the late Roland and Florence (Smith) Sweitzer.
Blanche was a graduate of Danville High School.
She was a member of St. John’s (Hain’s) U.C.C., Wernersville and a member of the Sinking Spring VFW.
She is survived by two sons, Kim R. Steinman husband of Julie, and Ricky L. Steinman husband of Marykay; two brothers, Zane and Eb Nevius; three grandchildren, Jenna wife of John Leone, Shannon wife of Joseph Igielski, and Chad Steinman husband of Sarah; and six great grandchildren, Jezika, Aiden, Hayley, Quinn, Alexa, and Ethan.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia, with the Rev. Ann Bolek officiating. Kindly follow recommended CDC guidelines while attending.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Hain’s Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any Veterans organization of the donor’s choice.
