Cleaven "Bubber" E. Parsons

Cleaven E. “Bubber” Parsons, age 77, of Womelsdorf peacefully passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of 56 years to Beverly A. (Shutter) Parsons.

Born in Reading on July 17, 1945 a son of the late Vernon and Margaret (Ream) Parsons.

He attended Wilson High School.

Bubber was the owner & operator of Temple Tire, Inc. for 47 years. He was the most generous and honest businessman, and lived to work at the successful business he created.

He was a member of the Lebanon Valley Sportsmen Assn; he loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, going to the casinos, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Keith A. Parsons; daughter, Korey L. wife of Eric Cox; brother, Lynwood Parsons; grandchildren, Brent, Briley, and McKena; and many nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Beidler.

He was dearly loved by his family for his kind heart and gentle ways. He loved helping others and felt so fortunate he was able to do so. He was loved by his family and so many friends and will be greatly missed.

A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Robesonia. A time of Sharing Memories of Bubber will immediately follow the visitation.
