Evelyn M. Leonard

Evelyn M. Leonard, age 81, of Newmanstown passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Reading Hospital.

Her husband of 60 years, Lynn H. Leonard died on October 7, 2022.

Born in Phoenixville, PA on March 7, 1942 a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Marion A. (Good) Diehl.

She was a 1960 graduate of Spring-Ford High School.

Evelyn was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her four children, Samuel D. Leonard (Becky), Evelyn M. Frederick (Steve), Daniel J. Leonard (Margaret), and Nancy S. VanDruff (Sean); son-in-law, Fred Hierl;  sister, Anita F. Mayberry; 16 grandchildren, Katie, Sam, Jana, D.J., Shane, Charlotte, Kyra, Trevor, Ashley, Britney, Jacob, Lauren, Lyndi, Gabriel, Cassandra, and Calista; and three great grandchildren, Aubrey, Amelia, and Gabriel, Jr.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah A. Hierl.

A Memorial Service will be held on  Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00am at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 4891 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. The family will greet and visit with friends following the memorial service.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
