Fern Lempergel Obituary

Fern D. Lempergel, age 75, of Strausstown passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Her husband of 56 years, Joseph Lempergel, Jr. died on July 28, 2020.

Born in Reading on March 8, 1947 a daughter of the late Claude and Madelyn (Garrett) Woomer.

Fern worked many years at the Bachman Pretzel Company, then 15 years as a Cook at the Heidelberg Country Club, and last at Microtel Inn & Suites, Hamburg for 12 years.

She is survived by her three children, Cynthia A. Kline; Kenny M. Lempergel; and Mary J. Lempergel; six grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, John, Amber, Christopher, and Mathew; four great grandchildren, McKenzie, Cheyenne, Natalie, and Sebastian; and two sisters, Bonnie and Terri.

Services will be private.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia is handling arrangements.
