Gary L. Meckley

Gary L. Meckley, age 69, of Lebanon passed on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at his residence with his family by his side.

He was the loving husband of 49 years to Lori A. (Highley) Meckley.

He was born in Lebanon on July 10, 1956 a son of the late Gordon and Elsie (Sonnen) Meckley.

Gary enjoyed many years of driving dump trucks for different businesses and was the former Sexton at St. Paul’s U.C.C., Schaefferstown. He was formerly an active Fireman and Fire Police with the Newmanstown Fire Company and was a former Captain with the Schaefferstown Fire Police.

His favorite hobbies were spending time with his grandchildren, driving his trike, and following the Uptown Band.

In addition to his wife, Lori, he is survived by a daughter, Heather J. wife of Jeremey Ehrhart; two grandchildren, Brittany wife of Ryan Weidman and Chandler Ehrhart; and a great granddaughter, Emerson.

Per Gary’s wishes, services will be private.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
