Gayle D. Hensley

Gayle D. Hensley, age 61, of Robesonia passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her residence.

She was the wife of 34 years to Darrell L. Hensley.

She was born in West Reading on November 5, 1962 a daughter of the late Barbara (Raezer) Blankenbiller and Lester Blankenbiller, who survives.

She was a 1980 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, and earned her Bachelors of Nursing degree from Alvernia University.

Gayle was a Registered Nurse at the Wernersville State Hospital for over 35 years.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time and socializing with friends and family.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a son, Garrett D. Hensley (Ali); two sisters, Deborah L. Jacobs (Thomas), and Karen A. Mattern (James); nieces & nephews, Nate and Amy, Stephen and Sophia, and Sean and Christina; two great nephews, Ryder and Theoden; and her in-laws, John F. and Christina Gayle Hensley.

Services will be private.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
