Helen A (Minnich) McNeal

Helen A. Minnich McNeal, age 101, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center in Wernersville.

She was the wife of the late William McNeal who passed away in 1964.

Born in Hegins, PA a daughter of the late George D. and Ada (Saltzer) Minnich.

Helen graduated from Hegins High School at the age of 16 and attended Pierce Business School in Philadelphia.

Through the years she was employed by Firestone Tire, the National Bank of Pottstown and First Federal Savings and Loan. She was a member of the DAR, Manatawny Chapter in Pottstown, and a member of Zion U.C.C. in Womelsdorf. Helen loved to sing and did so with the Church choir in Hegins, Pottstown, and Phoebe.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Dorothy, wife of George McLain, of Myerstown; two grandsons, William, of Lancaster and Kevin, of Newmanstown; and five great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her nine siblings, Earl, Austin, Eva Moffit, Arthur, Dorothy Hays, Robert, Evelyn Ramberger, Harold, and Pearl Gammarino.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
