Ingeborg Lotz, 84, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the evening hours Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Reading Hospital.
Born Friday, September 10, 1937, in Heilbronn, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Rudolf & Utty (neé Bohnhorst) Moller.
In her younger years, she loved reading, riding her bike and taking walks with her dogs. She was a wonderful cook, leaving us beautiful memories of Christmas and Easter gatherings with family and friends. A strong and loving mother, she did everything in her power to stay close to her 6 children, from working at the elementary school as a playground aid and crossing guard, to later driving the bus we all went to school on. Along with working outside the home, she loved history and languages and assisted in the translation of many historical German documents for the benefit of Lester Breininger and Kerry Mull. Ingeborg spent much of her early childhood in war torn Germany and in later years would relate her experiences leaving a rich history.
Ingeborg is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Edwin C. Lotz Jr.
She is survived by her children: Andrea Lotz, Victoria wife of Ron Brooks, Ingrid Belles, Virginia wife of James Kenning, Uta wife of Eugene Kamantauskas, and Christopher husband of Melissa Lotz;12 grandchildren: 4 great grandchildren; and two sisters: Margot Holm & Evelyn Grosser.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 12-2 PM to express their sympathy and share memories with the family at the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E High St., Womelsdorf. www.mullfh.com
