James Barry Hoover

James Barry Hoover, 84, of Heidelberg Township, passed away in the late evening hours Friday, July 14, 2023, in his residence.

He was the husband of Joan (née Smith) Hoover.

Born Sunday, September 18, 1938, in Robesonia, he was a son of the late Alvin & Miriam (née Schenck) Hoover.

A 1956 Graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, he entered the US Army in 1957.  James was the owner and operator of Hoover Farm & Garden.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Janette "Jan" Aulenbach & Jeff (Jody) Hoover; his grandchildren: Jamie and Jesse Aulenbach & Zak Sroka; and by his brother: Herbert Hoover.

He was predeceased by his siblings: Donald & Clark Hoover.

Burial in Millcreek Memorial Cemetery (Elias Church), Newmanstown
