Joel D. Talys

Joel D. Talys, age 82, of Robesonia passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Reading Rehab Hospital.

He was the husband of 33 years to Sharon M. (Wanner) Talys.

Born in Reading on February 11, 1940 a son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Brossman) Talys.

He attended Wilson Schools, loved his Cadillacs, and will be missed by family, many life-long friends and business associates.

Joel retired as Co-owner of T&T Boiler Service in Muhlenberg. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Charlotte Quinter (Kerry), Joel Talys, Anthony Talys (Tammy), and Michael Talys; sisters, Gloria “Jean” Powell and Peggy Snyder (Bruce); grandchildren, T.J., Josh, Nichole, Cameron, Kelsey, Mason, and Gabby; 12 great grandchildren; and his fur children, Belle, Lulu, Allie, Bob Barker, Giuseppe, Blossom, Gizmo, and Quinn.

He was predeceased by a brother, Leonard Talys; and a granddaughter, Ashley Hartranft.

Services will be private.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
