Patricia A. Dries

Patricia A. Dries, 85, of Robesonia passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

She was the loving wife of 68 years to Robert C. Dries.

Born in Fleetwood on October 11, 1936 a daughter of the late George H. and Mary I. (Moyer) Merkel.

She was a graduate of Marion Twp. High School in Stouchsburg.

Patricia was a talented self employed seamstress and crafter.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Robert C. (Linda) Dries, Jr.; a daughter, Linda L. (Tim) McAllister; 2 brothers, Ronald S. Merkel and Paul K. Merkel; 2 sisters, Margaret J. “Peggy” Miller and Joyce M. “Penny” Behney; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.

She was predeceased by a brother, George H. “Junior” Merkel.

Services will be private. 

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
