Ralph R Morris

Ralph R. Morris, age 77, passed away in Bethlehem, PA on March 6, 2024.  Ralph was born February 1, 1947 to Frank and Mary Morris in State College, PA.  Ralph graduated from State College High School in 1965.  He held an undergraduate degree from Indiana University of PA and a Master’s degree from Penn State University.  Ralph taught instrumental music in the Bethlehem Area School District for his entire teaching career.  He also taught students in his private studio for many years, well into his retirement.  Ralph played in several community bands and jazz ensembles.  He had an encyclopedic knowledge and love of jazz, Major League baseball, and trains.  Ralph completed over a dozen marathons including two Boston marathons.  Ralph is survived by his cousin, Barbara Stevens of W. Springfield, MA.  He was predeceased by his brother, John Morris, in 1987.  Interment will be private in Zion Lutheran & Reformed Cemetery, Womelsdorf.
