Ronald C. "Tut" Lutz

Ronald C. Lutz, age 68, of North East, MD passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Reading on October 26, 1954 a son of the late Donald and Clara (Forehand) Lutz.

He was a 1973 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School.

Ronald retired from A&S Trucking, York after 45 years of service. 

Ron’s true passion was his love of bass fishing. He was well known among the bass fishing community, often referred to as a legend. He spent many hours on the bay participating in tournaments and fishing for fun. Ronald was a mentor to young fishermen, passing on his love of the sport.

He shared a home with Deborah McQuate in Maryland for the past 23 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Adrienne J. Troutman (Michael) and Courtney E. Preston (Ryan); five grandchildren, Maxwell, Penelope, Ryder, Brody, and Nora; and siblings, Bonnie Fisher (Ira), LeAnn Chestnut, Carol Schwartz (Keith), Brian Lutz (Mandy), and Susan Neider.

A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023 beginning at 11:00am. Bass boat send off at 3:00pm  in the area of Bayview Blvd., Northeast, MD 21901.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
