Ronald G. Pressley, age 71, of Newmanstown passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He was the husband of 38 years to Kathy A. (Brandt) Pressley. Born in Penn Township, Perry County, PA on November 9, 1949 a son of the late George E. Pressley, Jr. and Nellie Mae (Manning) Pressley. He was a 1967 graduate of John Harris High School in Harrisburg. Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, having received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal, and the Expert Pistol and Rifle (M-14) Medals. He retired as a Mechanic from the Dana Corporation in 1995 after many years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting & fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Steven Palmer (Emily), Michael Owens (Amanda), and Sonya Wentzel (the late Joseph); four siblings, George Pressley, Jeannie Batz, John Pressley, and Robert Pressley; seven grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sam, Annelise, Michael, Oliver, Gabe, and Abigail; and a great grandson, Matthew. He was also predeceased by a sister, Patricia. Services and burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Mull Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Womelsdorf is handling arrangements.
