Ronald Schlaybach Obituary

Ronald H. Schlaybach, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021.

He was the husband of Sandra Fay (Auman) Schlaybach. They were married almost 62 years.

Born in Reading on May 27, 1932 a son of the late Harry and Edna (Sell) Schlaybach.

He was a 1950 graduate of Wilson High School, served in the United States AirForce, and was a graduate of Millersville State College.

He and his wife were former active members of St. Paul's U.C.C., Robesonia.

Ronald started his working career as a Mail Carrier in Wyomissing. He then taught Industrial Arts at North Penn School District in Lansdale, Cocalico School District, and last at Annville Cleona School District. He later worked as a Carpenter for General Contractor Ward Hayes, worked at Aluminum Alloys for 10 years, and ended his career in maintenance for 22 years at Camp Swatara.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his three children, Jeff A. Schlaybach (Cindy), Lori L. Burkhart (Ryan), and Ann M. Heck (Ron); a sister, Shirley Rhein; nine grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany, Jake, Peter, Cody, Philip, Travis, Sarah, and Paul; and four great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Brooke, Peyton, and Avery.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Mull Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Womelsdorf is handling arrangements.
