Ronald A. Yeingst, 76, of Millcreek Twp., Lebanon Co., passed away in the morning hours Sunday, May 27, 2018, of natural causes in his residence. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Gerhart) Yeingst, and was the husband of the late Linda L. (Fox) Yeingst, who died in 1994. Born December 3, 1941, in Womelsdorf, he was a son of the late Daniel & Susan (Keppley) Yeingst. He was employed by the former North American Refractories, Newmanstown, until his retirement. Ronnie had served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of the: Richland American Legion, post # 880; Lt. Col. Max Schaeffer, VFW post 6558, Womelsdorf; Newmanstown Athletic Assn.; Pioneer Hose Co., Robesonia; Womelsdorf Fire Co. (Past President); Orioles Home Assn., nest # 147, Newmanstown; Jolly Molly Baseball; and the bowling association. He loved his Philadelphia Phillies, Oakland Raiders, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, his family, his friends, and his cat, Snookums. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Scott Yeingst, Christopher R. Yeingst, Thomas E. Leed, Amy J. Hehnly, and Jennifer L. Gerhart; Eight Grandchildren, Two Great-grandchildren; and by his brother: Greg Yeingst. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara L. Witmer. Relatives and friends may call Monday, June 4, 2018, from 11 am – 1 pm, at the Mull Funeral Home, Womelsdorf. Burial with military honors will follow at 2:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ronnie’s memory may be made to the Richland American Legion post #880, PO Box 97, Richland, PA 17087 or to the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, PA 19567, to help with funeral expenses.
