Ruth S. Boyer, 85, of Wernersville passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her residence.
She was the wife of the late Ralph “Red” Boyer.
Born in Sinking Spring on January 20, 1936 a daughter of the late Sadie (Fitterling) and David Hassler, Sr.
She was a graduate of Wilson High School
She was a member of St. John’s (Hain’s) U.C.C., Cushion Peak Rod & Gun, Fritztown Fire Co., and the Sinking Spring VFW.
Ruth was employed at the Berkshire Knitting Mill, Keystone Nightwear, and last for the U.S. Postal Service.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra A. wife of Glenn Growley; siblings, David Hassler, Jr., Peggy Schaeffer, and Robert Hassler; a granddaughter, Amanda wife of Eric Frantz; and a great grandson, Mathew Boyer.
She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Hassler; and sisters, Grace Showaker and Noreen Ochs.
Services will be private.
Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
