Terry Vaughn Ayers, age 60, of Petersburg, PA (formerly of Pittsburgh and Reading, PA) passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. His friends and family were with him in his last days.
Born in Pittsburgh on February 7, 1961 a son of the late Kenneth E. and Thelma Ayers.
He was a graduate of Juniata Valley High School, Alexandria, PA and earned his Accounting degree from Centre Business School of State College, PA.
Terry worked as an Accountant for Chemcut Corp. and Accu-weather,State College, PA; Gilbert Commonwealth, Inc. / Parsons Power Group in Readingand last at Heberling Associates, Inc. in Alexandria, PA.
He enjoyed traveling with his family over many years and especially enjoyed spending time with his second family at the McConnellstown
Playhouse. Wherever he went, he was always great to be around.
He is survived by a sister, Mary E. wife of Donald Walters; a sister in law, Mary Olive widow of Richard Ayers; best friends, Dan Weston, and Dr. Keith Sutton and his wife Jean; and many nieces & nephews who loved him dearly.
Services will be private.
Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia, PA is handling arrangements.
