Terry Lee Stites, 60, of Womelsdorf, PA, passed away in the evening hours of March 31, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at Hershey Medical Center. Born on October 22, 1965 in Reading; Terry was a man who lived life in his own way—steady, honest, and unapologetically himself. He was known for being funny, caring, and truthful to a fault, never afraid to speak his mind and always willing to stand by those he loved. He is survived by his longtime partner, Beverly M. Brown, who shared many years by his side. He also leaves behind his son, Jordan Stites, and ten cherished grandchildren who brought him great pride and joy. Terry is also survived by his mother, Diane Stites, two daughters, a step son Charles Hellinger and his wife Paula and their 6 children and 4 great grandchildren. Along with many extended family members including cousins, aunts, uncles, and others whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Stites and step grandchild. Terry had a passion for the outdoors and working with his hands. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking, and he could often be found watching sports, attending rock concerts, or exploring gem and mineral shows with Bev. He was also an avid pool player and archer, participating in leagues for many years and earning numerous awards along the way. While Terry’s life included complicated relationships, he remained a memorable presence to all who knew him—someone who left an impression that would not soon be forgotten. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and those who were active in Terry’s life will be notified.
