Ralph E. Mountz, 90, formerly of Robesonia, passed away in the early morning hours Monday, February 6, 2017, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Jean A. (nee’ Weidman) Mountz. Born January 3, 1927, in Sinking Spring, he was a son of the late Ralph I. & Mary E. (nee’ Leed) Mountz. A 1945 Graduate of Womelsdorf High School, he had served in the US Navy during WWII.  He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia. Ralph was employed as a steelworker for the former North American Refractories & E. J. Lavino. He also was the past President of the Steelworkers Union for many years. He is survived by his daughters: Jean C., wife of Gregory Boyer, Wernersville, and Renee M., wife of John Forry, Hershey; his grandchildren: Matthew Boyer, Andrew Boyer, Amie Peters, and Adam Forry; and by ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 11 AM from Trinity Lutheran Church, 108 S. Robeson St., Robesonia, PA  19551, with the Rev. William H. Weiser, officiating.  Burial will be Friday, February 10, 2017, at 9 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Ralph’s church at the above address.
